OUR COZY COTTAGE

We would love to take you on a tour of our personal sanctuary where we have spent 29 years creating and recreating our sacred realm. It has been a glorious journey designing spaces to share with others as well as shaping private retreats for introspection.

Our personal style reflects an overgrown English garden filled with cascading antique roses, lush sage bushes and a variety of blossoming perennials. From every room in our cottage you can enjoy our bountiful garden. Every garden will take you to another contemplative space if you decide to meander down any one of our overgrown paths.

Country cottages love to be defined by picket fences. Gates are meant to be an invitation to stop by for a visit. Upon entering on any given day, our guests will find us enjoying a cup of tea on our latticed decks covered in scented jasmine vines.

The decks have been a wonderful front yard addition allowing us to engage more with our lovely neighbors.

In creating our backyard getaway we wanted to introduce an entertainment oasis while still maintaining the English cottage garden sensibility. This includes tall, privacy fences overgrown with climbing fig and Boston ivy vines. Our pond-like pool is surrounded by heirloom roses including our favorite, the Climbing Eden.

While touring our grounds you will find a variety of hardscapes blended in with our lush plantings such as reclaimed brick paths, bluestone lined in dark pea gravel, water elements around every corner and flower beds lined with large round river rocks.
